TESOL Organisations

I attended a conference recently where the presenter asked all the educators
in the room "What is the best way for teachers to share ideas and get information in our
fields of interest?" the answer was "other teachers" I have been a member of these
organizations for years, I have even presented at a TESOL conference in Athens Ohio, USA.
These organizations are run by teachers for teachers. There is much useful
information on these sites. Just click on the link to the right>

Happy Halloween Teachers!

This is one of my favorite times of the year to use resources.

power points for your new active boards, worksheets, crafts, cards,
classroom decorations. The list goes on and on. I have put most of
these resources on our departments server. Here is the path:

The IEP gets a digital upgrade.

The IEP department has been lucky enough to get several Interactive Whiteboards and personal computers
for use in the classrooms. This means teachers will now be able to enhance the learning process with the students. I have created a place here on this blog where educators can share their Whiteboard resources.
Technology is a wonderful thing if used properly. So let's create some awesome resources for our students.

New and Improved!

I have just added many new pages to the digital resource room.
Now that I am teaching grades 7 and 8 I have tons of resources to share.
I have also added an "English Games" page that has blank game
templates that can be used for different topics and grades levels. I have
added a "Video Tutorial" page to show teachers and students how to
make projects step-by-step. And a "Classroom Display" resource page
for those who need ideas to decorate their classroom.

If any other teachers would like to share resources for these grades
or topics I would be happy to upload them. Just send them to my email
darrylsalter@hotmail.com or catch me in the halls at school.

Happy resourcing!
Darryl

Project Week

Need something to do for Project week?

This year project week is a short week.
So the projects need to be simple, fun,
have good English content, and can be
compleated by students in one or two
lessons.

Just click on the "Project week" tab.
There are many more great resources
in T. Darryl's folder on IEP coursework.

Happy planning!
